Fiber Broadband Subscribers to Total 106 Million Worldwide in 2014: Report
ABI Research, a market intelligence company specializing in global connectivity and emerging technology reportedly predicted a rise in the number of fixed broadband users to 501 million at the end of 2014. The data said that broadband users linked through fiber will increase from the current 44 million to 106 million through the period.
During the year 2009, the number of fixed broadband subscribers rose to 422 million, achieving an increase of 9 percent from 2008.
