Sunrise Telecom to Showcase Advanced Business Services and Mobile Backhaul Test Solutions at OSP Expo 2012

Sunrise Telecom® Incorporated (OTC: SRTI) today announced that the company will be showcasing its award-winning portfolio of test and measurement solutions for business services and mobile backhaul applications at OSP Expo 2012 (booth 814), November 13 to 15, at the Colorado Convention Center.

OSP EXPO is the only telecom trade show that takes attendees deep into the heart of everything network related, from FTTCs and Wireless Backhaul to the aggressive evolution toward 100G. Attendees can meet with telecom professionals who are showcasing new methods and best practices for solutions of today and tomorrow.

At the Expo, Sunrise Telecom (News - Alert) will demonstrate key test capabilities of the RxT Smart Productivity Test Platform which help facilitate and assure network deployments for business services and mobile backhaul. These capabilities include OAM (Operations, Administration and Maintenance) and MPLS-TP (MPLS Transport Profile) along with IntelliSAM™, the most comprehensve ITU-T Y.1564 (Carrier Ethernet Service Activation) solution in the market today. OAM is critical for mobile backhaul and business services as they move from traditional TDM networks to IP networks. The feature ensures that packet networks will offer the same level of Operation, Administration, Maintenance and Protection features as legacy SDH/SONET networks.

Sunrise Telecom will also unveil the RxT-2500, its new Dual GigE Module for the RxT Platform. The new module will help technicians verify service level agreements, traffic prioritization and VoIP services.

In addition, the company will also showcase its industry leading Ethernet over Copper (EoC) deployment solution which enables network operators to deploy and validate SHDSL.bis protocols, affording maximum bandwidth from existing copper infrastructures. Sunrise Telecom will also demonstrate advanced features of the RxT-2600 module, the only four-port advanced EoC test solution on the market today.

Contributing to the educational offerings provided to attendees at OSP Expo, Ken Fridley, product marketing manager at Sunrise Telecom, will present a seminar titled "Increasing Efficiencies Using Workflow Management Systems," on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. This free seminar will explain how a properly deployed and configured workflow management system can easily increase technician productivity by up to 10 percent while reducing repeat truck rolls by five percent.
