Telx Increases Data Center Footprint in Dallas and New Jersey

Telx, an interconnection and colocation provider, has expanded the data center footprints of two key locations, Dallas, Texas and Clifton, New Jersey.

With 15 premier facilities, Telx increases speed to market and reduce connectivity costs by providing direct connections to the performance networks and access to more than 800 telecommunications carriers, ISPs, content providers and enterprises.

A total of 12,500 square feet of conditioned floor capacity for financial institutions, media and content companies, service providers, cloud providers and software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) providers allows Telx to meet high demand for colocation and interconnection services at these two strategically-located data centers.

Telx's customers across the globe need connection-rich, strategically located data center suites for high-availability networks and on-demand applications, while meeting their own customers' service level agreements (SLAs). Both Dallas and Clifton get new opportunities for Telx customers, with access to fully built, SAS (News - Alert) 70-compliant, raised-floor data center space with up to 300 watts of power per square foot.

"Telx successfully sold out the majority of Phase I capacity in our Dallas and Clifton data centers, and is expanding to meet current customer growth requirements along with new customer demand," said Brad Hokamp, chief marketing officer of Telx.

"Telx offers a proven colocation model that matches our enterprise customers' data center requirements, along with industry-leading carrier density and interconnection services," Hokamp added.

Telx's Dallas facility offers over 34,000 square feet of data center space and access to more than 50 network operators. Customers at 8435 Stemmons Freeway can leverage access to Telx's interconnection center at 2323 Bryan Street, Dallas, as well as direct connections to 1950 Stemmons Freeway -- the Dallas INFOMART.

100 Delawanna Avenue is a strategically located building in Clifton, N.J., that services New York City and Northern New Jersey markets. Telx's more than 50,000 square feet of colocation space is located 11 miles outside of New York City.
