Sinara Relocates Market Data Platform to Interxion London Data Center Campus
Sinara Consultants has relocated its hosted Market Data Platform to the Interxion (News - Alert) London data center. The company has also moved many of its own development systems and test beds into Interxion's London site. Sinara Consultants, a software house to the financial marketplace, offers market data solutions that work with data feeds from exchanges such as the London Metal Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. Interxion is a European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services. Sinara director, Phil Bain commented, "We required a colocation provider that offered the connectivity and reliability to allow us to operate critically important hosted solutions for our clients. We had outgrown our incumbent supplier, so we turned to Interxion due to its first-class reputation within the financial services community for quality of service and reliability.” The Sinara Market Data Platform is a fully-integrated and flexible system for handling a wide range of market data sources. The presence of a large number of financial exchanges' matching engines and access points at Interxion's City of London data center campus, and Interxion's ability to offer direct cross-connects to market data providers, allows Sinara to easily connect with its existing and potential customers. Greg McCulloch, UK managing director at Interxion, added, "Sinara's decision to deliver their services from our City of London data center campus is not only a validation of the benefits of our Financial Hub, but also increases the value Interxion can offer to its financial community. “ With a community of more than 200 financial services institutions, in our London data centre, as well as more than 15 liquidity venues and all the major market data vendors, Interxion has rapidly become the logical choice of colocation provider for software vendors delivering solutions to the financial services market."
