Lightower Adds Access Into New York City-based Intergate.Manhattan Data Center of Sabey

Lightower Fiber Networks recently announced that it has added access into Sabey's Intergate.Manhattan facility. Customers of Sabey will now benefit from an extensive range of all-fiber networking solutions along with diverse laterals and diverse routing to the new facility. Sabey Data Center is a privately owned multi-tenant data center developer and operator.

Lightower Fiber Networks are specialist providers of metro fiber and bandwidth. They operate in the northeast part of the country. In a statement, Doug Dalissandro, EVP of Sales and Marketing for Lightower, said that, “The Lightower Network offers customers more routes and more service locations than any other metro fiber provider in the Northeast. Adding this Sabey facility to our growing New York City presence solidifies Lightower’s commitment to offering the most all-fiber networking options for our customers. This world-class data center offers mission-critical services to the financial, communications, and other industries which are closely aligned with Lightower’s customers.”

Lightower, which specializes in fiber networking solutions, currently provides a number of customers with mission critical networking services at the facility. The company's range of solutions ensures that customers benefit from robust protection and reliability of services with a 99.999 percent availability rate. Furthermore, customers of Sabey will also be provided with access to more than 3,500 service locations within the Lightower Network spanning the Northeast. This also includes hundreds of buildings within Manhattan.

Intergate.Manhattan, which is located in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district, has been developed as a 32-story purpose-built building covering one million square feet of space, providing robust power, and advanced data center cooling facilities. At present, a number of leading industries from the financial services sector and the life sciences, as well as telco carriers, colocation, managed hosting, and cloud service providers are housed within the facility.
