Atlantic Metro Expands Network and Services Across the US
Atlantic Metro Communications has unveiled their Points of Presence (POPs) within three CRG West data centers across the US.
CRG West is a major developer, manager and operator of world-class data centers. Leveraging CRG West’s data centers, Atlantic Metro (News - Alert) Communications has opened POPs at 32 Avenue of the Americas in New York, 427 South LaSalle in Chicago, IL and at One Wilshire in Los Angeles, CA.
This expansion will allow Atlantic Metro Communications to provide additional and enhanced Internet, transport and colocation services for their Web hosting, enterprise, network and Internet customers.
The company will also benefit from the peering opportunities offered by CRG (News - Alert) West’s Any2 Exchange points in Los Angeles and New York.
Any2 Exchange will enable Atlantic Metro to efficiently provide enhanced Internet connectivity services to their customers. The company will also be able to offer to its customers, quality Internet services with lower latency and 100 percent up-time SLA guarantees.
Stephen Klenert (News - Alert), CEO of Atlantic Metro Communications said that with these latest network POPs, their nationwide network now spans 335 on-net buildings. Thanks to both strategic connections on the Any2 Exchange, Atlantic Metro’s network has reach than it has ever had before.
CRG West recognizes Atlantic Metro’s ability to meet market demands by expanding within their data centers, noted Joseph Kiaer, CRG West’s vice president in New York.
“As one of the first participants on the Any2 exchange in New York, we hope Atlantic Metro will continue to choose CRG West data centers and colocation services for their ongoing expansions and customer requirements across the United States.”
Atlantic Metro Communications is a SAS (News - Alert) 70 managed Internet service provider offering colocation, IP transit, nation-wide transport and New York metro area dark fiber solutions. The company was in news last week when it expanded its network Points of Presence (PoPs) at Switch and Data's (News - Alert) sites in North Bergen, NJ and New York 111 8th Avenue.
