Level 3 has entered into a five-year agreement with Experior under which it will provide Ethernet Wave Service, Ethernet Private Line, HSIP, and colocation services. In tandem with Level 3’s advanced long-haul network, these services will allow Experior to provide high-quality Internet service to rural enterprise customers. “High-quality global communications services are crucial to modern-day businesses, and those services are expanding the potential marketplace influence for rural enterprises, breaking down traditional geographic barriers,” said Chris Henshaw, CEO of Experior. “Working with Level 3 enables us to provide even our most remote customers access to a premium network and an efficient way for rural enterprises to remain competitive in a global marketplace.” “Level 3 offers enterprises innovative services over an expansive, scalable, and efficient IP backbone,” said Jeff Tench, president of Business Markets for Level 3. “We are delighted to work with Experior to enable their rural enterprise customers to benefit from the high-quality, global connectivity our network provides.” Level 3’s network includes approximately 54,000 long-haul fiber miles and 27,000 metro fiber miles in the U.S. As a result, Level 3 offers multiple low-latency options for a variety of routes. In recent news, Level 3 has been selected by CCP, a multiplayer online gaming company, to provide them with its content delivery network services. Divya Narain is a contributing editor for TMCnet.
