Neff Rental Selects Bluewolf for Custom Salesforce CRM Application


Neff Rental, a provider of rental construction equipment has chosen Bluewolf , an on-demand consulting firm, to extend its Salesforce CRM application by leveraging the Force.com platform. The extension has enabled Neff Rental’s sales reps to access tailored customer information on a single screen whether at the customer’s site or in the field.
 
Neff Rental wanted to streamline its sales process to give its field reps an edge over the competition. With tens of thousands of customers and more than 1,000 employees across the nation, Neff Rental’s salespeople had problems accessing critical data while trying to close a deal at a client's office, according to the company officials.
 
The company realized that by having immediate access to vital information, customer data and daily task prioritization they could quickly close a sales deal. By working with Neff Rental, Bluewolf customized their Salesforce CRM application with a new user interface, called a Planner Tab, which improved usability and integration of new “sales” screen designs with its database.
 
Thanks to the new customized solution by Bluewolf, the Neff Rental salespeople can easily reschedule, reassign and consolidate tasks across different job sites.
 
Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Neff Corporation, Steve Settelmayer said in a statement that Bluewolf has helped their total sales call volume increase over 10 percent by customizing the sales screens on their Salesforce CRM application with a new Planner Tab. He noted that this improvement in call volume is the equivalent of adding 15 more sales representatives, without incurring the expense.
 
According to Clarence So, chief marketing officer, salesforce.com, this development work by Bluewolf for Neff Rental showcases the power and capability of Force.com for quickly and easily customizing Salesforce CRM for specific use cases.
 
Len Couture is the managing director of CIO Practice for Bluewolf, which has helped more than 1,000 customers leverage salesforce.com's SaaS (News - Alert) CRM applications and Force.com platform. He explained that they used the Force.com platform to customize Salesforce CRM for the specific requirements of Neff Rentals salespeople.
 
The Force.com platform gives Bluewolf the application development power they need, entirely as a service on the Internet, so they don’t have to manage and maintain any software infrastructure.
