Mushroom Networks Introduces Slim Version of its Innovative Network Appliance
Mushroom Networks (News - Alert), Inc., innovators of Broadband Bonding technology, recently released Truffle (News - Alert) Lite, a slim version of their innovative network appliance. The newly announced Truffle Lite combines multiple broadband lines into a single high-speed connection. It targets small and medium businesses and home offices and effectively solves the gap in broadband service options available to growing companies by offering a viable way to add bandwidth capacity based on immediate need. SMBs or home office users, with the help of Truffle Lite are provided with the ability to mix and match services from multiple providers creating built-in redundancy to assure Internet service even if a link fails. With built-in security, quality of service and live traffic monitoring features, Truffle Lite is also able to run a local network with ease. Combining up to four broadband connections of any type, Truffle Lite easily installs between the modem and local network without requiring configuration to the existing network or coordination with the ISP, a truly plug & play setup. Truffle Lite comes standard with two WAN ports activated and supports the option of 3 or 4 WAN ports. “Traditionally, growing companies and home offices have very limited choices when it comes to Internet service. In many scenarios, one DSL or cable line is simply not enough to support operations and services such as MPLS or T3 are overkill and not economically feasible,” stated Dr. Cahit Akin (News - Alert), CEO of Mushroom Networks, in a press release. “Truffle Lite solves this all-too-familiar service gap by offering companies the ability to scale bandwidth directly coinciding with needs. Besides creating an incredibly fast Internet connection, this little box incorporates all the networking functionalities a business needs to keep the network safe and running optimally.” In related news, Mushroom Networks, Inc. recently introduced Teleporter with HD capability.
