Fibernetics Business Services NEWT Managed PBX (News - Alert) overcomes the limits of both hosted and premises-based PBX technology. It could best be described as a hybrid or network-based solution.

NEWT is installed across the Fibernetics CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) carrier network. Fibernetics CLEC voice and data network, along with the NEWT solution, offers an all-in-one solution which is scalable, dependable and delivers considerable savings to the bottom line.

Fibernetics recently announced its NEWT solution is being used by more than 1,000 businesses across Canada. The firm’s new business voice solution brand NEWT reportedly helps companies save up to 50 to 80 percent on their monthly telecommunications service.

Exclusive to the business voice solutions market, NEWT eliminates the expense of various company lines and replaces them with a single dedicated voice connection. It can also be replaced by a high-bandwidth, high-availability, multiuse voice and data connection with a completely private path for the voice.

Fibernetics also offers many other data and Internet options for business. The company is available 24 hours a day, everyday throughout the year, and provides live support.

“The best part of our offering is that we include everything. There are no hidden charges or up sells. Our customers have saved significantly using NEWT," explained John Stix, CMO at Fibernetics. "A recent case study of Discount Car and Truck Rental's head offices proves NEWT to be an asset to day-to-day operations with savings of more than $2,000 on a monthly phone bill and double Internet speed following installation.”

In 2011, TMC’s (News - Alert) Anil Sharma reported that Overture Networks, a carrier Ethernet solutions provider completed the installation of its Ethernet technologies for Fibernetics Corp. The deployment improves Fibernetics Business Services division, as it actively provisions the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market with Ethernet business services in competition against incumbent providers.

Fibernetics’ business services’ division has installed the Overture Networks (News - Alert) HN4000 and HN400 Ethernet over bonded copper platforms.
