Anova Technologies Upgrades Fiber Path to Access TransAtlantic Entry Point

Anova Technologies has upgraded the fiber path between 1400 Federal and 111 8th avenue, yielding “literally multiple dozens of microseconds trimmed off the round trip latency.”

In a recent statement, the company was proud to announce that this upgrade makes it the fastest fiber connection available on the route in question.

The company launched its OptiWave fiber platform in March of 2010. At the time it was launched, it was aimed at eliminating the dilemmas surrounding dark fiber connectivity, providing them with a way to deliver a single fiber color to their clients with paths between 300 Blvd. East, 1400 Federal, 275 Hartz/ 755 Seacaucus, and 165 Halsey.

This latest update is one the company considered important for firms to be able to access the TransAtlantic entry point “as quickly as possible.”

Michael Persico, chief executive officer and founder of Anova Technologies, said the company is constantly upgrading their network, promising that this update is just a “mere slice” of their “2013 global agenda.”

“The next twelve months will absolutely spawn some exciting and massive change… for our clients, the industry, and Anova,” he beamed.

Just what does Anova have in store for the industry? Perisco says they’re on the “precipice” of launching “the end-game solution in the RF sphere,” optimizing their fiber network, and “delving heavily into the external acquisition of key assets.”

Their recent update will enable their clients to tie into the London Stock Exchange, the London Metal Exchange, Chi-X, BATS London, and NYSE LIFFE, among others. Perisco wants his company to “not just stay ahead of the curve, but drive its trajectory” – a goal that he has amply met with this latest update.

When the rest of the updates that Anova has in store will occur is unclear, but they’re obviously not afraid to “champion self-disruption.”
