Datapod has announced the new launch of the Datapod App. The new app will allow CIO’s to design their own data center. Datapod specializes in delivering unique alternatives to data center installation, as the new app will help with better servicing the industry, according to Datapod founder and director Scott Carr.
“The Datapod App is an extension of the efficient modular Datapod system. The app cuts down the time required to design a data center by helping customer better identify their needs,” said Carr.
With the app, customers will have the ability to decide between a number of different designs based on personal preference, budget or need. Customers can decide whether they would like to expand and build a large data center, or if a company would like to stay small, as smaller options are also available.
The data centers will be completely customizable, allowing the customer or designer to decide between how many racks and what type of density they’d like, what type of cooling and other infrastructure choices such as generators, chillers and deployment services.
Datapod works closely with the customers design, providing for the fastest design and installation process. Designs also go through rigorous testing before officially being deployed, giving the customers the best quality product available.
“Better still, because our modular data center are manufactured and tested before deployment our customers can have a fully operational data center within three month of accepting a proposal,” added Carr.
