Ceragon Complements PEG Bandwidth's Fiber Network

Ceragon has already received initial orders for the new generation of multi-core, packet radio solutions and the actual deployment will include dozens of FibeAir IP-20C links throughout the United States.
PEG Bandwidth provides customized cell site backhaul networks for wireless carriers. The company chose FibeAir IP-20C as it can deliver high capacity throughout the backhaul network at a low total cost of ownership (TCO).
PEG Bandwidth aims to serve the lower-tiered and rural markets, and customizes cell site backhaul networks for major wireless carriers.
It aggregates mission critical backhaul traffic across multiple networks and provides a seamless end-to-end connectivity solution to its customers.

Ceragon Networks (News - Alert) claims FibeAir IP-20C is the only microwave radio to offer a virtual-fiber solution in licensed bands. Featuring a breakthrough multi-core technology, the IP-20C also boosts spectral efficiency to address the capacity requirements of advanced HetNet backhaul and fronthaul scenarios.

Ceragon Networks provides wireless backhaul solutions that enable mobile operators and other wired/wireless service providers to deliver 2G/3G, 4G/LTE (News - Alert) and other broadband services to their subscribers.
The company was in news last week for reporting revenues for the fourth quarter of 2012 at $106.8 million.
