Data centers are popping up all over the world as the demand for high bandwidth and low latency becomes more of an expectation than a luxury. The development of 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) and 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) has aided in giving us the high speeds and large capacities that are allowing the future to take shape the way it is: Software as a Service (Saas); cloud based entertainment; in-building networks for stadiums and airports; and video, video, video. Standing on the high bandwidth superhighway woven form dark fiber, the next big revolution in high tech lifestyle is being realized right before our eyes.

Allied Fiber Overview
Allied Fiber was created to address America's need to eliminate obstacles for broadband access, wireless backhaul and lower latency through new, next generation long haul dark fiber construction with sound principles and an open access philosophy.
The Allied Fiber team is a collection of experts in the fields of communications, network construction and finance. They are all dedicated to building and providing access to an abundant supply of dark fiber in areas where it is most needed. The first phase of new duct and fiber construction will be between New York, NY, Ashburn, VA and Chicago, IL.
