Optical Spectrum Analyzers Tap WDM-Aware Technology to Enhance Accuracy of Test Results

To give wireline and wireless network operators accurate test results the first time, test services provider EXFO Inc. has added wavelength-division-multiplexing-aware (WDM-Aware) capability to its FTB-5240S/B-P optical spectrum analyzers. In addition, WDM-Aware testing capabilities also provide features like on-graph peak detection level, referencing, and SCPI commands. According to EXFO, as a result of new enhancements to optical spectrum analyzers, network operators will be able to remove the uncertainty of test results. Allied Fiber Overview
Allied Fiber was created to address America's need to eliminate obstacles for broadband access, wireless backhaul and lower latency through new, next generation long haul dark fiber construction with sound principles and an open access philosophy.

The Allied Fiber team is a collection of experts in the fields of communications, network construction and finance.
