By Carolyn J Dawson
Zayo Group (News - Alert) has launched 100G Wavelength services in the Northeast Corridor. The routes of New York City to Philadelphia and Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. have been upgraded and will now offer 100G Wavelength services.
Customers will be able to scale their bandwidth demanding applications with the implementation of the 100G Wavelength system, which will offer much better speeds than currently available. A major group of financial, government and large enterprise customers use the Northeast Corridor connecting Washington, D.C. to New York City via Philadelphia. In sync with these plans, the most up-to-date generation coherent technology will be advantageously used by the Northeast implementation.
