Fibrenoire, a telecommunication company specializing in fiber optic connectivity services for businesses in Quebec and Ontario, has acquired Pixel Web.
Pixelweb Telecom an information technology company specializing in Internet access technologies and telecommunications has been providing its expertise and services to Canadian enterprises, institutions, and government agencies for over 20 years.
The company takes great pride on its industry leading and personalized customer service along with turn-key solutions to the customers.
Thanks to the acquisition, Fibrenoire will now be able to increase its presence in the greater Montreal region by adding more than 150 new clients to its existing client portfolio.
Pixel Web clients will now be able to benefit from Fibrenoire's reliable fiber optic network.
“This acquisition comes at a perfect time for us and our strategic growth plan given that these 150 new clients already use fiber optic technology. We have established a solid reputation in the last years delivering top of the industry fiber connectivity services. Our clients are able to implement a state-of-the-art telecommunication infrastructure needed for their cloud applications, which in turn, allow them to be more productive and efficient,” said Benjamin Desmarais, president and CEO of Fibrenoire, in a statement.
Desmarais said that this is the experience that the company wants its new clients to benefit from, now that they are part of the Fibrenoire family.
Rémi Fournier, VP sales & engineering said that Pixel Web customers will continue to receive the same level of personalized technical support services in addition to being able to take advantage of Fibrenoire's robust Next Generation IP network and the 1Gbps fiber optic access.
Earlier in August 2013, Cologix, a network neutral interconnection and data center company, had announced that Fibrenoire is deploying a fiber Point-of-Presence (PoP) into Cologix’s new state-of-the-art data center at 905 King Street West in downtown Toronto in order to meet customer demand.
